Nutrition
The company with its growing footprint has been supplying perishable and dry fruits, vegetables, starch, pilchards and milk to almost 100 000 (one hundred thousand) learners per day in the government nutrition programme.
Tswelokgotso food division also supplies meal replacement products and nutrition supplements aimed at closing the gap when regular meals cannot be prepared in time. the duel pouch systme compromises of a sachet of nutrient rich meal replacement and a sachet of water.
These nutritious meals are aimed at filling the gap when there is no time to prepare a cooked meal. This has worked successfully in some of South Africa's largest mines, providing recipients with their daily nutritional meals reducing hunger.
The meal replacement technology has also been implemented through Tswelokgotso Health reaching fitness centres in South Africa, Swaziland and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
